The clinics in the department are equipped with 22 state-of-the-art dental chairs, an overhead projector, autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. They are used to train undergraduate as well as post graduate students to assess oral health status using indices and also for preventive dentistry, application of pit and fissure sealants and fluoride gel.

Mobile Dental Clinic

The department has a well-equipped, air conditioned mobile dental bus with two dental chairs and all attachments including aerotor, micromotor, ultrasonic scaler, 3-way-syringe, light cure unit with gun, X-Ray viewer , glass bead steriliser and seating space for 15 people. The operating light is of two intensities fixed with a hinge on top of the van. A public address system, 2 slide projectors, TV, DVD player and health education models are used to provide health education and motivation.

Dental museum

The Dental Museum situated in the department, display posters and models are meant for dental health awareness and education of the general public. A TV and a DVD player, telecasting oral health awareness material prepared by the department, adds effectiveness to health education and motivation.

Library

The departmental library is stocked with 47 titles and a total of 91 books and journals. There are 3 computers, a printer and a scanner in the department. The entire college is connected to internet with wi-fi.
