Every student of Manipal University is covered under the university medicare plan with a Rs 75,000/- annual limit. A card issued for the same entitles the bonafide students of the Manipal University to get medical treatment (outpatient/ in-patient) from doctors and hospitals under Manipal university.

In the Mangalore campus, the medicare plan is available in the following hospitals

3. Manipal college of dental sciences, Mangalore (Light house hill road & Attavar)
