MIC offers 6 courses:
- Undergraduate Course – BA in Journalism and Communication
- Postgraduate Course – M S Communication)

2. Can I learn Film Making?
MIC is not a Film Institute, but under Broadcast Specialisation for MSCOM, one can learn subjects like Documentary film making, Broadcast management and policy, Multi cam Production, and television. The undergraduate programme also has courses in television production and Film.
3. Does your curriculum include course in acting?
No. There is no course in the institute on acting or anchoring.

BAJC— 3Yrs
PGDCC— 1 Yr

MA film Art- 2 years (1st year at MIC, 2nd year at EICAR Paris, France)
PG Diploma in Film Art – 1 year
6. Do I get to learn advertising?
There is no dedicated course on advertising, but the curriculum includes subjects on advertising, marketing, media planning and branding.
7. I am an NRI. Can I apply to MIC?
Yes, NRIs can apply.
8. Does the college provide hostel or accommodation facility?
Yes. Institute has the facility of hostels. According to the requirement of the students the tariffs vary.
9. Do I need to write any entrance test?
Yes. Candidates are required to give a national level entrance test after which a shortlist of candidates will be released. The shortlisted candidates undergo a group discussion and personal interview before the final list of candidates is released.
10. Can I learn video editing?
Yes. Video editing suits are available on both Windows and Mac.
