• Mr. Gagan Bajaj, Assistant Professor bagged the best paper award for his paper titled “Effect of frequency reallocation on vowel perception in children with cochlear implant” at the 9th Conference of the Cochlearimplant Group of India (CIGICON) Lucknow which was held between 24th – 27th November 2011.
• Mr. Radish Kumar, Assistant Professor- Senior Grade and Dr. Jayashree S. Bhat bagged the 1st place for their paper titled “Management of Voice & Swallowing disorders following parapharyngeal space tumor resection: A Case Report” under the theme of ‘Improving Outcomes in the Management of Head and Neck Cancer’ in the Quadricentennial Cancer Conference held between 29-31st August, 2011 at Manila, Philippines.
• Mr. A.V. Sangamanatha, Lecturer & Dr. Jayashree S. Bhat bagged 1st place for their paper titled “Enhanced temporal resolution and speech perception abilities in children with musical training” in the Combined 4th Asia-Pacific Otology & Neurotology Conference and the 1st Singapore Otology & Skull Base Update on 9th and 10th October 2010 at Singapore. This conference was organized by the Changi General Hospital, Singapore, in conjunction with the Singapore Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (SSOHNS).
• Mr. Kaushlendra Kumar, Assistant Professor & Dr. Jayashree S. Bhat bagged 3rd place for their paper titled “Effect of aging and cochlear hearing loss on speech evoked brainstem potentials” in the Combined 4th Asia-Pacific Otology & Neurotology Conference and the 1st Singapore Otology & Skull Base Update on 9th and 10th October 2010 at Singapore. This conference was organized by the Changi General Hospital, Singapore, in conjunction with the Singapore Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (SSOHNS).
• Ms. Sahana Gore, Lecturer & Dr. Jayashree S. Bhat received the best paper award for the paper titled “Acoustic Analysis – Hyper functional verses Hypofunctional Voice Disorder” on 22nd November 2007 at VOICECON 2007 held at Pune.
