Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS) envisions training and developing health care professionals who can create a difference in the quality of life of the physically or mentally compromised individuals.

Allied health professionals are vital for holistic healthcare. With this in view, Manipal University established the Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences in 1999 as the first institution in India exclusively dedicated to the education of allied health professionals. Our graduates have great scope for employment in corporate hospitals, rehabilitation centres, polyclinics, industries, training institutions in India and abroad, apart from the option of private practice. It is the largest allied health college in India.

MCOAHS has a well-qualified, committed and motivated faculty. All the departments have well-equipped laboratories and clinics. In addition, there are a number of central facilities, which include a computer centre, central library, sports and hostel.

The infrastructure of the college has well-equipped laboratories.Clinics of various departments of the university viz. Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Institute of Technology support various academic and research activities.

The Rehabilitation Council of India based on the committee's report has awarded "excellent" grading to the Department of Speech and Hearing and the Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS) for its training programme and contribution to the welfare of the hearing handicapped.
