Nuclear Medicine is a branch, which deals with the application of radiopharmaceuticals in the diagnosis and treatment of various disease statuses. Being very safe and non invasive with minimal radiation exposure, nuclear medicine imaging is picking up and there is an urgent need for trained technologists in this fast growing field of medicine both in India and abroad. The department started its UG programmes in 1993 and PG programmes in 2004.
