1. What do Allied Health professionals work as?

An Allied Health professional is an important part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team who provides support services and rehabilitative measures for the patients in the hospital/ individual practice.

2. What academic background is best suited for studying at MCOAHS?

Any student interested in pursuing Allied health course who has completed 10 + 2, preferably with PCB/ M background, can apply for MCOAHS courses. For courses like B.Sc. HHIA, students with 10+2 from any background may apply.

3. Can a foreign student apply to MCOAHS?

Yes. As the medium of instruction is English, there would not be any problems for students from various diversities and cultures around the globe

4. Is it a coeducational college/girls college/boys college?

The college follows co-educational system.

5. What is the teaching methodology at MCOAHS?

Group teaching sessions with blackboard, audio visual aids, presentations, lectures, seminars, and observational modes are employed alongside clinical teaching sessions. Students requiring special attention are given assistance on a one to one basis. Continuing education programmes on a regular basis helps the students to stay abreast with latest developments in their field.

6. Does MCOAHS have any research facility for students?

Yes. Students are given the opportunity to do research at undergraduate and post graduate level and are encouraged to do national as well as international level presentations/ publications. At the Postgraduate level, it is mandatory for the students to do a thesis on a particular research area and submit before appearing for university examinations. The college provides assistance during the whole process.

7. How is the demand for Allied Health Science professionals  like abroad?

Till date, there has been a 100% placement for allied health professionals abroad and they are in great demand in many foreign countries.

8. Is there any placement cell in the college? Will I get assistance for placement after I finish the course?

Up till now, there are no placement cells in the college, but the college does carry out placement activities from time to time when various organisations make requests. Each department assists its student with placements.
