Established in 1972, the department has grown remarkably to train students using state of the art technology. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The department has the most advanced laboratory facilities available. The placement record of the department is very good. Most students receive at least two job offers. The department offers four year B.E Degree course in Electronics and Communication Engineering and two year post graduation M.Tech Degree in Digital Electronics and Advanced Communications and M.Tech Degree in Microelectronics. The department has conducted many conferences and workshops on recent technology. The department has a good record of research activities with many publications in international and national journals and conferences.
