Health Sciences Library is deeply committed to provide physical as well as virtual access to books, journals and other materials to the Students and Faculty. The collection of the Health Sciences Library in the area of Medical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences and Life Science is very strong. The collection comprises mainly with books, theses, current journals, back volumes of journals, audio-video cassette, CDs, online databases, online journals etc. The collection is heavily used by the Faculty, Students and Research Scholars. Users can browse online journals in Intranet environment.
The book collection is arranged on shelves, in classified order using library’s own classification system. The collection of back volumes of journals is arranged on shelves in an alphabetical order. The current journal issues are arranged on periodical display racks alphabetically subject-wise.
