  1. All users are to use their SBI Combo card for access to the control gate to enter the library.
  2. All students are required to keep their library membership card and produce it if asked for identification.
  3. Students are not allowed to take books, files, printed materials or any other articles inside the library. However, they can keep such articles at the property counter provided in front of the lending section of the library.
  4. Borrowing and returning of books must be done through the windows of the circulation counter between 9 am and 7 pm. This facility is not available on Sundays and holidays.
  5. Fine will be charged for the books returned after the due date as follows.
    • Re1 per day per book till 15 days after the due date
    • Rs 2 per day per book till return of books
  6. Book or any other literature taken for reference, against library membership card, must be read within the library and must be returned before leaving the library. Defaulters will have to pay a fine of Rs.25=00 per day per book (or any other literature)
  7. Students are requested to return the book at the circulation counter taken for reading from the main book stack.
  8. Mutilation and disfiguring of pages of books are strictly prohibited. A person shall be held responsible for any damage done to the documents of the library. He has to replace such documents by latest edition or to pay double the latest cost. If a section is damaged from the document the whole set shall be liable to be replaced.
  9. Library book / book bank if lost, the concerned student has to replace book by latest edition or to pay double the latest cost.
  10. Students shall maintain pin drop silence inside the library.
  11. Group discussion is allowed only in the halls specified for the purpose.
  12. Smoking inside the library is strictly prohibited.
  13. Cellular phones are not allowed inside the library.
  14. The users must make a conscious effort to keep the library clean. Edibles are not allowed inside the library.
  15. The books, notes etc. used to reserve seats may be removed by any other user and the library is not responsible for loss of such personal books/notes.
  16. Chairs and tables and other library equipment, fittings and furniture should not be marked, defaced or disarranged.
