All I year students and all girl students must ensure that they sign in the attendance register by the stipulated time. Wardens and hostel staff have been instructed to call the parents at night in case they not return to the hostel by midnight i.e. 12 A.M. They will have to pay fine and may be removed from the hostel.

Girl students staying in other blocks must inform their Matron of the block and room no. where they will be staying. They should also inform the matron of the block where they are staying, failing which they will be treated as absent.

Students returning to the hostel after their permission time or after 12 A.M. without permission will be charged a fine of Rs.500/-

Absence from Hostel. When a resident wishes to leave the station on vacation/holiday or otherwise, he/she must make necessary entry in STAY OUT REGISTER, available with the Caretaker/Matron. It is mandatory to record departure/return time and place to which they are going and phone no.

Students are asked to sign the fine letter to enable them to represent if they have any valid reasons. The fine letter will be sent to the Hostel Finance after one week from the date of issue.

Wardens/Caretakers will go around the blocks between 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. to check if any rooms are locked. The rooms which are found locked will be entered in the daily report book and students staying in those rooms will be treated as absent from the hostel and their parents will be informed on phone. The bill for the same will be charged to the students and a fine may also be imposed.

Girl students returning to the hostel after 12 A.M. will be accommodated in common room of IV Block.

Campus store will close at 11 P.M. Students are not permitted to roam around in front of girls hostel and Kamath Circle after 11:15 P.M.

Outsiders/ Students staying outside are not permitted to enter the hostel without written permission of the Warden. They must enter their names in the visitor’s book before entering the block and leave the hostel by 11 P.M.

Students staying outside, if found involved in any form of physical violence in hostel premises will be suspended from the college.

Police has been requested to detain students roaming around outside the campus after 12:00 A.M. midnight.

All students are advised to carry their identity card all the time and the authority letter to remain outside the campus in case there is any necessity to move out of the campus at night.

Sickness. If a resident falls sick, he/she must immediately inform the Caretaker/Matron who will call the ambulance and evacuate the student to the KMC and look after him/ her and inform the Warden/ TG. Ambulance Phone No. is 22404.
