Other than the mess facilities which the hostels in the University have, this food court too runs a mess for students. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is served here. The mess is on the ground floor. Then there are two more floors one each for students and faculty.

Ever heard of food bridging the cultural gap? Just walk up to the first floor of the food court and there you have a wonderful sight of students from other countries and cultural backgrounds enjoying each other’s company and food. The atmosphere is perfect for the place. If it is lunch time, the students can be seen sitting cheek-by-jowl.

The truly Malaysian flavour is inviting. Be it the vegetarian or the non-vegetarian, students just love it. The rotis and chappatis with sabzi are as much a favourite of all as are the idlis, vadas and masala dosas. Kebabs and tandoori chicken make for a bit of Mughlai flavour. Parathas and even Chinese food are available. For those who like pizza, pasta or other Italian food, there is a counter serving that as well.

The choice of cuisine does not end there. Subway counter burgers are quite popular in the food court. And depending on how hungry you are, there are two sizes of this international food you can pick from.

Wide variety of fresh juices, cold coffee, milk shakes, smoothies and other beverages are also available. The entire food court is centrally air conditioned making it a good hangout for students. And, if a cricket or soccer match is live on the big screens placed in the first floor, then finding a place to sit is not easy.
