Manipal University has got a high speed internet gateway of 14 mbps through BSNL's STM ring, 100 mbps from Bharti Airtel gateway- all in one Manipal campus, to meet the internet requirements of faculties and students. All the institutions under Manipal group are behind Domain Controller and Active Directory (AD) infrastructure to support group policy implementation and remote management services. Manipal University has around 2,000 email users from the faculty group

E-mail facility to the students and alumni has been provided in collaboration with Microsoft.
