The University Finance Office takes care of the finances of the University and is responsible for the maintenance of its accounts. The Finance Office is located on the third floor of the manipal.edu building and has a total strength of 19 employees.

Activities:

The Finance Office is engaged in processing payments for infrastructure projects, supplies of capital and consumable items for the University, investments of funds, disbursal of funds to constituent colleges, compliance with taxation and other statutory requirements, preparation of budgets and preparation of the financial statements of the University. Administration of the finances of Manipal University and its constituent institutions which include framing and implementation of policies and rules, the annual university budget, tax related issues, consolidation of accounts.
